Maid of Honor
Jamie (or "Sis") is Darcie's sister. She has been by Darcie's side through all of life's big and small moments. The day after Darcie and Michael went on their first date, Jamie and Darcie were volunteering at the Presto Fire Department Lenten fish fry, and Darcie was going on and on about the date. Jamie listened patiently to all of it! On Jamie's wedding day, Darcie was proud to stand by her side as she married Andrew. Darcie can't imagine saying "I do" without her Sis standing by her side.
Best Man
"Cope" as he is known by his friends, is not only the Best Man, but also the Officiant! He is one of Michael's oldest and closest friends. When we were thinking of who knows us best, as a couple, we both agreed that it's Cope. When we moved, Cope was there. When Michael was rebuilding the deck steps, Cope was there. When we went fishing at Moraine State Park with Emersyn and Michael's parents, Cope was there. Cope has been a major part of our lives since the beginning. It just made sense that on this special day, Cope would play a major role.
Flower Girl
Our niece Emersyn is the daughter of Michael's sister (Janessa) and her husband, Donnie. The very first time Darcie ever met Emersyn, she had only been dating Michael for a few months, but that didn't stop Emersyn from asking if they were going to get married! Since that time, she has asked approximately 920384398 times! She finally gets her chance to attend a wedding and to be a Flower Girl! Emersyn will be 8 years old at the time of the wedding. We are as excited as she is to have her join us on our special day!
Ring Bearer
Our nephew Connor is the son of Darcie's sister (Jamie) and her husband, Andrew. He loves to charm people with his big smile and his little giggle, and when you see him smiling, you can't help but smile yourself. And those dance moves - wow! That's the energy that we want on this special day, and Connor brings it! Connor will be just shy of 2 years old at the wedding, and we can't wait to see this sweet little man coming down the aisle!
