Darcie & Michael
Our Story
Michael and Darcie met on Tinder (of all places!) in March of 2022. Their first date was at Grist House in Millvale on March 24th. After meeting at Grist House and talking endlessly (no surprise to anyone who knows them!) Michael asked Darcie if she wanted to get something to eat. He said he knew of a place nearby. They walked next door to the Double L Bar, which had a cute roll up window and stools outside on the sidewalk...the inside was quite different! It was a total dive! Michael kept saying "We don't have to stay here! We can go somewhere else!" as he was looking at the checkered laminate floor and the video poker machines and the clientele, but Darcie, knowing it would make a great story, said "No, we should stay here." It turned out to be a funny story! (Note: ask them sometime about their fish sandwich! ha!) After dinner and more talking, Michael walked Darcie to her car a few blocks away, and they had their first kiss. It was the perfect start to their life together!
