We first met on a rooftop in Wicker Park, Chicago on November 7, 2020, during what was supposed to be just another casual get-together with friends. At the time, we had no idea that a simple evening under string lights and city skies would be the start of something much bigger. Things started off as just that—casual. We clicked instantly, but in the beginning, it was all friendship. In fact, our first “date” didn’t happen until the following April... though depending on who you ask, only Reno considers it a real date. Over time, our connection grew, and our friends started to catch on. We began hearing things like, “Wait, what’s going on with you two?” and “You guys are so good together.” Apparently, they knew something we hadn’t quite figured out yet. It all came into focus a few months later, at a music and camping festival in August. Somewhere between the music and the late-night talks, we both realized this wasn’t just friendship anymore—there was something real here, something worth exploring. And the rest, as they say, is history.

After years of gently convincing Reno, we finally made the move into Chicago — Logan Square is now our home. Chicago is where it all started, and now we continue to build our life together, full of laughter, adventure, and love. The light of our world is our beloved dog, Paisley, who keeps us on our toes and fills every day with joy (and plenty of puppy kisses). We still chase the music we fell for, whether it’s festivals, concerts, or discovering new artists together. Our shared love for the outdoors keeps us camping at least once every summer—there’s something magical about sleeping under the stars and waking up to fresh air and quiet mornings. Traveling, exploring new coffee shops, and spending quality time with our friends are the things that make life feel full. And when it comes to unwinding, you can usually find us sharing a bottle of Italian or French red wine, paired with our ultimate comfort meal: a perfectly cooked steak and potatoes. Our journey has been one of friendship, fun, and building a beautiful life together—and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.
