Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have a list of hotel blocks on our travel page. We suggest you make your reservations as soon as possible because there is a very big festival in Charleston the same weekend. If you would like a more boutique hotel experience, we totally get that! There are so many amazing options in Downtown Charleston.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation to Lowndes Grove. Charleston is a very accessible city with lots of cabs, ubers and Lifts readily available. The ceremony and reception are both at Lowndes Grove, so you will not need transportation in between.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We look forward to celebrating with you on the day!

Are children welcome?

Answer

We want this to be your night off, a date night! So as much as we love your kiddos we ask that they stay home the night of the wedding.

What is the weather like in February in South Carolina?

Answer

Great Question! The weather can range quite a bit, it can either be around 50 degrees or 75 degrees. Our ceremony will be outside and the reception under an insulated tent. Ladies we suggest bringing a shawl or coat and checking the weather the day of to decide if it is needed.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a small parking lot on property, but lots of street parking in the neighborhood outside of the venue. But we still suggest taking an Uber, Lyft or cab.

Where is everything located on property?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will take place on the front lawn of Lowndes Grove. Cocktail hour will follow in the main house, and the reception will be under an enclosed tent.
