Amy is the first friend I ever made in TN. Thank you disgusting middle school cafeteria for forcing me to ask for hand sanitizer. She is over at my house at least twice a week, and typically announces her presence with a dumb question. Best example “what is sea level??” I would not have it any other way though because nobody makes me die of laughter more than this girl.
Alec
Best Man
Darby met Alec way back in 8th grade. We bonded over both hating scary movies, and hiding while the rest of the small group watched Insidious. That turned into Darby volunteering under Alec on the church lighting team. Volunteering almost every weekend with Alec, and many pranks and shenanigans throughout those weekends, led to the lifelong friendship we now have.

The enemies to friends trope was inspired by us. Freshman year volleyball we hated eachother, but our common friend group kept forcing us together. Thank goodness for that because I adore my sassy Greek bestie. .
Noah

Darby met Noah at the one and only Northern Arizona University #JacksUp. Having the same class schedule for 4 years, and many study groups to pass those engineering classes started our friendship. After college Noah and I continue to play games together whenever possible, and every time I make Cassidy mad and drive to Cincinnati to buy cards, I make sure to meet up with Noah and his wife.

My fellow bookworm and nature nerd, who I luckily shared an office with. Our break time book rants quickly turned into monthly coffee and brain dump sessions.
Aidan
Groomsman
Aidan was another college friend, and a multi year roommate. From struggling through homework together, to yelling across the house (much to the dislike of our other roommate who is now Aidans Fiancee) about video games late at night, we became great friends. Now that college is over we still play games together, and both of us have flown across the country to the other just to play golf. We continue to try and bring back the college fun and forget that we are adults who have jobs.

Another middle school bestie! Olivia and I are the real life saddle club. Growing up our weekends were spent at horse shows full of laughter and space heaters. She is the best barn buddy a girl could ask for.
Daniel

Darby met Daniel in college as well. Although I wouldn't say we hit it off right away in college because Daniel was way too smart and didn't struggle as much as the rest of us in the first couple of years. Daniel was good friends with Noah and through proxy I began to hang out with Daniel and see he was a party animal like the rest of us. Through many bar nights that ended with the group at the party house where Daniel and Noah lived we have some great memories. Daniel and his wife also had to play babysitter when I had too much fun at Country Thunder one year.

He’s related to me so I had to include him. Just kidding!! I knew I wanted him involved in this day, but for the longest time I could not figure out how. Then it hit me, his perfectly timed humor would make him the best officiant. You are the best little bro!!

Jack is the party animal of the group. Another college find Jack was always the one we had to keep an eye on because if he decided he was going to do something he was going to do it, even if that thing was ditching the group at 1am and walking a few miles home without telling anyone. While Jack cannot be with us at the wedding due to his work conflict, he is a great friend and he will be with us in spirit.
Jinx
Emotional support
Jinx may be one of the worst dogs on this planet, but if it's true that dogs take after their parents then I guess that is Cassidy and Darby's fault. While we tell her she is the worst, and more often then not she is referred to as "Stinky" in our house, she is the most spoiled dog ever and we love her through all her faults. While she cannot attend the wedding, feel free to ask the Bride and Groom about her, we both have camera rolls filled with pictures of just Jinx.
