Tennessee is known for Dolly Parton, so go have a blast at a theme park all about Dolly. Get the cinnamon bread!
A fairly easy hike in the Great Smoky Mountains. October is the best time to see all the trees change colors, so if you love the outdoors this is a great option for you! This is a personal favorite for us since it is where we got engaged, hopefully the hike is easier for everyone than it was for Darby as he stressed the whole way to the waterfall.
It's a big roller coaster.... not much else we can say
Get your moonshine here. You are in the South you know you wanna try moonshine, just be careful it does sneak up on you
Killer burgers, request extra napkins they are massive. Get the fried deviled eggs.
A drivable loop in the Smoky Mountain National Park. Great place to see animals and historical sites!
Cassidy won’t be working the week of the wedding, but stop by and see the place that takes 40 hours of her life every week. It’s pretty cool!
While most of what we listed is closer to the venue, if you have time the greater Knoxville area has much to be explored. From Downtown Knoxville where you can see the World Famous Sun Sphere or the Tennessee Theater, to Tellico where you can spend time at the Tennessee river. Take time and explore around you will not regret it!
