Amazing natural history museum. Will have a special Pokemon Fossil exhibit
There are a ton of options for architecture tours. Really fun family-friendly activity that shows off the architecture of the city while floating down the river. One of Dar's favorite activities (and David loved it too). 10/10 would recommend
It's The Bean. Everybody cool does this in Chicago. You wanna be cool, right?
People from all around the world come here to spend crazy amounts of money. It actually is quite beautiful to walk along though, especially as you approach the Riverwalk. Keep heading south towards The Bean for maximum Chicago-ness.
The Shedd Aquarium. It has fish and other aquatic animals. Neat! Dar actually has never been here
Really pretty walking trail next to Lake Michigan. Dar and David spent one afternoon swimming around Lake Michigan and it felt like we were in a washing machine. But we love walking along the trail and relaxing on the beach; it's practically the same as California if you ignore the obvious lack of ocean! Renting a Divy bike is an excellent way to tour it
Really cool old-style theater from 1929. Absolutely beautiful inside and best place in the city to catch a movie. Dar and David once watched "The Princess Bride" here on Valentine's Day and it was very romantic. We actually have been here about a thousand times and for our third date we watched the most bizarre Italian movie here about absolutely nothing. Still trying to figure that one out. Anyway, cool theater, check it out
Jazz bar, very old-school Chicago cool. Al Capone allegedly used to hang out here. Great time if you like jazz and great alcohol if you don't.
It's got a game room with billiards, darts, and skee-ball. It's got a rooftop bar overlooking Millennium Park. It's got great alcohol. It's got a great big study with fireplaces that might be roaring in mid-June. What more could you want?
