The Dushanbe Teahouse is a lovely place for afternoon tea, brunch, lunch or dinner! It was gifted to the City of Boulder by our sister city in Tajikistan. It was built there, taken apart, shipped to Boulder and then put back together.
Boulder Creek Festival is a staple event for Boulder every year. It goes on for all of Memorial Day Weekend and it consists of small, local vendors, food, games, and the famous rubber ducky race! If you have time to check it out, it's a lot of fun!
The Bolder Boulder is a famous 10K race that happens on the Monday of Memorial Day Weekend (Monday, May 29, 2023). It can be raced seriously or you can walk it with costumes and enjoy all of the free samples, alcohol and food along the way! Registration is open now for anyone who wants to sign up!
Beautiful state park with hikes for all different levels. We recommend hiking to Blue Lake or Lake Isabelle. This place can get crowded and may require reservations. Make sure to check ahead of time whether you need to make a reservation. It also gets quite windy so make sure to bring layers, and lots of water!
Rocky Mountain National Park is a short hour drive away from Lafayette. It boasts beautiful views, hikes and wildlife. We recommend getting there early and going to the Bear Lake Trailhead and hiking to Nymph Lake, Dream Lake, and Emerald Lake. It's a relatively easy hike but an extremely popular one so make sure to get there early!
Delicious ramen restaurant in the cute Highlands neighborhood of Denver. We love this restaurant and bring guests and friends here regularly! If you do want to go, be aware that there is probably going to be a wait as it is a very small, and popular restaurant. There are two locations though and you can make reservations at the other one.
