Question

What is the venue like?

Answer

This venue is not a classic wedding venue. It is an airbnb that someone is very graciously renting to us for the evening (instagram @little.luck.farmette). It is a rural farm and has uneven, soft ground. We do not recommend wearing long dresses, stilettos, or especially fancy attire/shoes. There is no restroom so we will be providing a port-a-potty with a hand washing station. There is plenty of space for parking but if you plan on drinking, please get an uber/lyft to get to and from the event as it is not walking distance from anything. Everything will be outside so please dress accordingly. We will have a closed tent but no heaters.

Will there be a photographer?

Answer

No! WE WOULD LOVE FOR PEOPLE TO TAKE PHOTOS OF THE WHOLE EVENING AND WILL CREATE A GOOGLE/APPLE ALBUM TO SHARE PHOTOS. We will likely have a couple of cameras circulating and would love for people to take photos for us!

What food will be there?

Answer

We are getting a pizza food truck called Outside Pizza. They will be serving delicious pizzas, buffet style. We will have 3-4 different options for pizza. There will be a gluten free and vegan option. We will also have a salad bar and other sides to go along with the pizza. We will not be offended if you bring your own food to the event as we understand that pizza is not for everyone.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

YES. We will have a bartender serving up wine, an assortment of beers, wines and different cocktails. Despite the open bar, please drink responsibly. We don't want to deal with any accidents.

What is the weather like in Colorado in May?

Answer

One day it can be snowing, the next it can be 80 degrees (26C). Please make sure to check the weather before coming out. All of our events will be outdoors so plan accordingly.

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Answer

We are still working to finalize this but it will likely be something like this... 4:00PM Guests arrive (5610 NE County Line Road, Erie, CO, 80516) 4:30PM Ceremony at Little Luck Farmette 5:00PM Cocktail hour and photographs 6:00PM Dinner and dessert 7:30PM Speeches/Games 8:30PM Dance Party Commence 11:00PM Bar closes 12:00PM Party over

Do you have a wedding planner?

Answer

No. We are doing everything ourselves so please keep that in mind when you attend the wedding. We are doing everything we can to make it go as smoothly as possible but may need some help from time to time. We also will not have extravagant decorations and are planning on keeping the whole thing pretty simple.
