No. Children or derivatives thereof are not allowed. So call up grandma or find a babysitter because this is your time to be away from your offspring.
Something in between cocktail and smart casual so maybe dumb cocktail? Just no flip flops, shorts or t-shirts please (and that means you too Dan!!!)
There are hundreds of hotels in the DC area at almost every price point imaginable. Rosslyn is the closest neighborhood/metro to the venue but who would want to stay there when DC is just across the river! Courthouse would probably be the second closest neighborhood/metro if you don't want to stay in DC proper.
We will be having a buffet with many different food options. We will have passed appetizers to start and then the buffet will be open for grazing/absorbing alcohol. We will have an open bar as well. There will be tables for people to sit at to eat but we expect people to be up and dancing most the time!
Yes. The venue has a private valet parking for about 80 cars. Parking is available on a first come first serve basis. We strongly encourage you to take a cab or ride share to the venue for safety and convenience.
We have created a menu to try and accommodate most dietary needs. However, we cannot think of everything. So if you have something super specific, please let us know and we will work with our caterer to try and accommodate.
As much as we love our fur babies, absolutely no pets are allowed at the venue.
How are you our friend? But yes. There will be non-alcoholic beverages available.

No. The No Kings protest is scheduled for the 18th which is a Saturday. If you are planning on visiting the mall, just be aware that there will be many large crowds of people protesting near the Washington Monument so plan accordingly.
Yes. All the Smithsonian Museums, the arboretum, tours of the capitol/white house, etc will be closed unless the government reopens between now and next Friday. The monuments and Arlington Cemetery will still be open (unless Abe and MLK animate and walk away!). The good news is that there are many non-Smithsonian Museums in DC and many other things to do. Here are a few things consider: Spy Museum - try out your spy skills in this interactive museum. Bible Museum - where you can see man and dinosaur living together in harmony! Dumbarton Oaks - the coolest little secret garden in DC. Check out the schedule because they are quirky. Phillips Collection, Kreegar, Rubell Museums - get your art fix on! The Gogo Museum - an entire museum dedicated to DC's very own gogo. Rock creek park - tons of walking trails to enjoy Mt Vernon - see ol' George's estate Union Market and La Cosecha - neat little markets with food stalls and shopping
