We have no idea what the specific dress code terms technically mean, and we're not sure anyone does. The wedding will be semi-formal, which we're defining as: gowns or cocktail dresses (any length dress is fine), suits, or dressy jumpsuits. No tuxes, please. The wedding will take place inside and outside. Carrie will be wearing a wedding dress, if that helps ;)
The welcome party is cocktail attire, and here's how we're defining that: short dresses or more casual long dresses, slacks and a nice shirt, jackets of any color, or suits. No ties required but welcome if you like wearing a tie. The party will be on the hotel rooftop or inside in case of rain.
Nope! This will be a Jewish wedding at the beautiful and welcoming Quaker meeting house in our neighborhood. They have confirmed there is enough space to hoist us on chairs for the hora.
There is very limited street parking in the neighborhood around the venue; we'd highly recommend walking, taking public transportation, or taking a cab or ride share. If you are planning to drive, let us know and Dan can share his neighborhood parking tips.
RSVP by March 25th-- and we would really appreciate earlier RSVPs!
