Updated Covid booster vaccines for the Omicron variant are available, and we highly recommend everyone get one if they can/want (if you are eligible); we got ours the second weekend of September. You can make an appointment at your local Walgreens or with your primary care provider (https://www.walgreens.com/findcare/schedule-vaccine), and it's advisable to do this at least two weeks from October 8 for full efficacy. The ongoing pandemic is a large part of the reason we chose this site for our wedding, since there is ample opportunity to be outdoors and/or distanced inside the hall, which has a ton of windows. Anyone who prefers to wear a mask indoors (not required by us or the State of MN) is entirely invited to do what makes them comfortable! Everyone's safety is our priority. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Please wear what makes you feel great! This is not a formal event, though we would love to see everyone in their favorite best threads. Also be sure to watch the weather forecast and bring layers as it may be warm in the afternoon and cool off by the evening, and/or bring a change of clothes, especially if you would like to stick around for the campfire hangout after the reception.
The ceremony will start at 4pm, so please arrive anytime before 3:45 to make sure you find a seat at the chapel in the woods - though feel free to come early to explore the park before the ceremony begins.
This is an inclusive event and we know that it's not easy to find childcare, so bring your kids if you want/need to or feel free to leave them at home if you prefer - whatever makes you happy & comfortable makes us happy & comfortable! Let's chat about dinner for your little ones as our menu is not super kid-friendly; we can figure out some options and/or feel free to bring provisions to put in the fridge (there's a full kitchen at the site).
If your invitation includes a guest, please feel free to bring someone (and don't forget to add their name when you RSVP)!
All of the snacks and dishes will be plant-based and gluten-free. Most of the snacks and dishes will also be nut-free and/or dairy-free; we will label dishes that are not obvious so they are easy to avoid. If you have other food allergies, you can certainly let us know and we'll try to accommodate you, or at least help you navigate the offerings.
There is ample parking at the park, no permit required!
Please let us know if you plan to attend by August 30th; we must update / confirm our guest count for our caterer by September 1. There is a RSVP page on this site that makes it easy to do! Look for the tab labeled: "Yay! You're Coming!"
