The closest airport is PDX in Portland Oregon. It is a two hour drive from Portland to Tygh Valley.

Accomodations 🏠

If booking a hotel or AirBnb, we suggest the town of Maupin. It’s about 15 minute drive from Tygh Valley. The nearby towns are small, AirBnbs are limited. Hood River and The Dalles are larger with more accommodations 30-45 min away. Please reach out to us if you are having difficulty finding somewhere to stay!

Travel Note

Camping 🏕

You are free to camp in a tent or van in the big field behind the barn Friday and Saturday night. Please email us if you will be camping so we can get a head count of campers and send you more details. It will probably be colder at night in September (low 50s upper 40s) so prepare for that. The climate is high desert.
