The Delta Marriott and Courtyard Marriott have reserved rooms for the wedding (information below). There should be enough rooms for almost everyone if you would like to take advantage of the courtesy block. Reservations need to be made by August 2025. Check out our section "Things to do" to see great suggestions near both hotels and around town!

This is a Marriott, for those that have points. Please make sure to request the Dougherty-Meigel Wedding block -- Room rates should be $182 a night, covering Friday to Sunday. This hotel is downtown, with a shuttle to restaurants and fun locations nearby, and is in walking distance of the river park system.

This is a Marriott, for those that have points. Please make sure to request the Dougherty-Meigel Wedding block -- Room rates should be $175 a night, covering Friday to Sunday. This hotel is near the Scott's Addition/Fan area of town, with fun bars, restaurants, and museums nearby.

A great option for those who aren't too pressed for time and want to relax! There are a number of different lines to choose from, and we recommend Staples Mills Station for more options or Main Street Station if you're staying in a hotel downtown. Amtrak from NYC takes about 6 hours, from BWI about 4 hours, from DC about 2 1/2 hours.
