FAQs

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Our celebration will take place outdoors overlooking the ocean, so we encourage light, airy, and breathable fabrics. Attire is formal. We kindly ask guests to wear bright, light, or colorful tones (pastels and vibrant hues are encouraged). Please avoid dark colors (especially black), as well as white, cream, or ivory. Women should wear formal dresses or gowns. Men should wear suits or dressy formal attire. Footwear should be dressy and suitable for the setting. Overall vibe: formal, colorful, and celebratory. Question

What should I wear to the Welcome Party?

Answer

Attire is dressy casual with a fun, vacation-ready feel. Think effortless and stylish: breezy dresses, matching sets, linen, fun prints, and lightweight fabrics that feel comfortable yet polished. This is a chance to look cute, feel good, and ease into the celebration. Heeled sandals, stylish flats, and elevated resort wear are perfect for the setting. Overall vibe: chic vacation dinner with great music, cocktails, and celebration. We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white, cream, or ivory so those shades remain reserved for the bride throughout the weekend.

Question

What should I wear for the boat day?

Answer

Swimwear is encouraged if you’d like to get in the water, paired with stylish cover-ups, breezy sets, or lightweight resort wear. Think Love Island bombshell energy 🔥 We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white or cream tones.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be kicking things off with a welcome party on Friday, May 15, 2026, and hosting a boat day on Saturday, May 16, 2026. You can find all the details on the schedule page, and of course, every event includes food and an open bar 😌

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, a valid passport is required for all guests traveling to Mexico. Please ensure that your passport is up-to-date and valid for at least six months after the wedding. For Example: If you arrive on May, 14 2026, your passport needs to be valid until at least November 14, 2026. Do not wait to check your passport status or to apply for one if you don’t have it. If you need to apply for a new passport or renew an existing one, you can do so through the U.S. Department of State: travel.state.gov/passport

Question

Which airport should I fly into for the wedding?

Answer

The closest airport is Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR) in Puerto Vallarta. It’s just a 30–40 minute drive from our wedding events. We recommend booking your flights as soon as possible to get the best prices and the most convenient flight options.

Question

How long should we stay?

Answer

Our wedding is on Friday, May 15, 2026. To enjoy the full weekend of festivities, our core dates are Thursday, May 14 through Sunday, May 17. If your schedule allows, we recommend coming in on Wednesday, May 13 or extending your stay after the weekend to give yourself more time to travel and to soak in the beauty of Puerto Vallarta!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying at one of our preferred hotels, Hotel Mousai or Garza Blanca, as that is where the bride and groom will be staying. It's a great way to spend more time with them outside of the scheduled wedding events, and as an added bonus, transportation to and from the wedding will be provided from these hotels. That said, you're absolutely welcome to stay wherever best fits your budget, style, or preference. The wedding venue will be at Le Kliff in Puerto Vallarta, and we've suggested hotels for your convenience. If you choose alternative accommodations, please note that you'll need to arrange your own transportation to and from the wedding events. Luckily, taxis and ubers are easy to find throughout PVR. If you need help with another hotel recommendation or need a travel consultation, feel free to reach out to Margo at margo.holly@fora.travel

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Nope! Taxis and Ubers are easy to find in Puerto Vallarta, and they’ll get you where you need to go from the airport to your hotel, or out to any activities you might want to do. If you’re staying at our preferred hotel, we’ll also have transportation arranged to and from the wedding, so no extra planning needed.

Question

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Yes! You can find our Zola registry under the “Registry” tab on our website. Just being there to celebrate with us is the best gift. If you can’t make it to the wedding but would like to give, contributions to our home fund are gratefully welcomed.

Question

I have another question that isn't listed here, who should I reach out to?

Answer

Please don't hesitate to reach out to Kiki & Danny and we will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have. You can also reach out to Margo at margo.holly@fora.travel.com for any travel related concerns.

Question

How can I find transportation?

Answer

If you are staying at Hotel Mousai or Villa Divina, transportation will be provided to and from all wedding weekend events. For guests staying at Hotel Mousai, pickups will take place at the North Tower lobby. If you are staying in the South Tower, please plan to walk across the bridge to the North Tower. Guests staying at Garza Blanca will need to take the trolley to the Hotel Mousai North Tower for pickup. We recommend familiarizing yourself with the property layout ahead of the wedding day. All pickup times can be found on the schedule page. If you prefer to arrive or leave on your own time, Ubers and taxis are easy and reliable options. Transportation will be provided by VIP Transportation.
