The Moorish Castle
We felt transported back in time here. Such a different and foresty vibe. Check the weather because if it rains... there is nowhere to hide! Worth going first thing in the morning and wearing some real hiking boots.
National Palace of Pena
We spent a few hours here right after visiting the Moorish Castle. Beautiful and absolutely worth taking the tour of the inside of the house!
Park and Palace of Monserrate
The space that first drew us to Sintra specifically within Portugal. A must visit. Take all the time you can here, and be sure to take in the Romantic Ruins in the Palace Garden.
Quinta da Regaleira
We did this as the last stop on our tour. Pro-tip, if you drive there, park at Valverde and stop over for a light refreshment after your tour. Worth booking a ticket and maybe our favorite grounds!

Cascais has a great historic food scene. We fell in love with the beaches too. We're excited to visit it's cultural center this time around!
