Q: Can I reserve a spot at the campground? Is there any room?

Answer

A: Unfortunately Snag Lake Campground is a non-reservation camping area. It's like staking your claim in the wild west! That's why we are going up early to take over as much as we can and make friends with any neighboring campers who may already be there. So, is there room? Yes, as long as you think adventurously and with a friendly attitude!

Q: What should I bring?

Answer

A: Sensitive to the sun? Bring sunscreen. Worried about bugs? Bring bug spray. Whatever you may need for a trip into the wilderness. You'll see on your invitations that we're hoping you can bing picnic items as well: a dish & drink to share if at all possible, a picnic style chair for yourself and your family, and your own utensils and bowl or plate so we can cut down on the amount of plastic and trash! Let's keep nature pristine!

Q: If there is no cell service, how will I know how to get there?

A: Keep your invitation! there is a handy and simple map on the back!

Question

Q: What's parking going to be like?

Answer

A: It will be difficult. Try to get there earlier than the start of the ceremony, like 12:00 or 12:30 If there is no room on the side of the road near the campground, you can find yourself a spot on one of the many vista points or turn outs along the Gold Lake Hiway! One of our volunteers will pick you up and shuttle you back to Snag Lake for the wedding!
