When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you are able, or by July 1 at the latest! For any last minute emergencies or changes, please let either Brenda (2062257946) or Danny (2064652214) know.

Where is Buena Vista?

Answer

Buena Vista is a small mountain town approximately 2.5 hours southwest of Denver. Brenda and Danny have spent quite a bit of time here, as it is really (in our minds) the perfect mountain destination: located in the beautiful Arkansas Valley and surrounded on all sides by mountains, the opportunities for outdoor recreation are endless.

What is the altitude like?

Answer

Buena Vista is situated at 7,965' above sea level. If you are coming from sea level and are concerned about the altitude, we suggest staying a night in Denver (5,280') to acclimate. One drink at altitude is equivalent to two drinks at sea level, so we encourage you to drink responsibly!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Please join us the evening before for a welcome reception at the Mt Princeton Hot Springs Resort! We have the Infinity Pool booked from 7:45-9:45PM. Light refreshments will be provided but please eat dinner beforehand! Bring a bathing suit if you would like to soak in the hot springs--towels will be provided.

What are the Mt Princeton Hot Springs?

Answer

For the Welcome Reception, we have rented out the Infinity Pool at the Mt Princeton Hot Springs. This is a fully developed swimming pool that is heated by natural geothermic heat (temps range from 99-104F), and is accessible by either stairs+railings, or a gradual beach-like slope. While you are welcome to soak in the pool, you certainly don't have to! There is also a deck/patio, bar, and seating where you can sit back, socialize, and enjoy the mountain views. If you would like to swim, towels will be provided--just bring your swimsuit!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 4:30PM. We ask that guests begin arriving at 4PM.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend dressy casual--we want our guests to be comfortable! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, so we recommend you bring sunglasses, a light jacket, and wear shoes suitable for crushed gravel.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift of all! However, if you wish to honor us with a gift, we will gratefully accept a contribution towards our honeymoon in New Zealand. For more info, check out the "Registry" tab above.

Can I bring a plus one? Kids?

Answer

When you go to the RSVP page, you will see the number of spots we have reserved for you under your name. Kids are welcome and will be included in the number of spots we have reserved for your family. If you are concerned that we may have missed someone, please reach out to us!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please check out the "Travel" tab for more travel and lodging info. This is a popular destination, and many hotels have already sold out for the weekend. There are lots of Airbnbs and VRBOs in the area, so we recommend checking those out as well! Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of guest parking at the venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will provide shuttles from downtown Buena Vista to the venue (a 5min drive) and back. Stay tuned for more info on this!

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

While we'd love to celebrate with your furry friends, our venue does not allow other dogs.
