We will be sending out a formal invitation in March, and after that, we ask that you please RSVP by April 6th. Any RSVP made after may be declined, as we need to provide a final count by mid-April to our vendors.
In lieu of traditional wedding gifts, we've set up a travel fund with various excursions and activities you can gift us for our honeymoon. Your generous gifts will help us explore Hawaii, our dream honeymoon destination, and create lasting memories. You can find all the items under the Registry page on our website. We will also have a reception card box/gift card holder on the day of the wedding and will be accepting cash donations and cards during the reception.
The venue is located near Ensenada, Mexico, about a ~4 hour drive from Los Angeles. If you are based in the LA area, we strongly recommend driving or carpooling, as it's the fastest and most direct way to reach the venue. For those driving down, we've created a "Carpool Sign-up Sheet" if you want to find others to drive down together. It's separated at the bottom by Drivers (Open to Driving) and Passengers (Looking for Rides): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TT86C5-ZYshNbU5Ng84FmGO6zeVwXV9ggkhP_T9r1Ms/edit?usp=sharing
You will need a Passport or Passport Card when traveling to Mexico, and we also strongly recommend applying for Global Entry to expedite your return to the US after the wedding. If you have never driven across the border, just know that without Global Entry and during peak hours (Sundays from 11:00 AM-10:00 PM) the wait can range anywhere from 2-6 hours to cross! For more information on Global Entry visit: https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry
The ceremony will start at 4:00 PM promptly, and we recommend you arrive no later than 3:30 PM. If you are taking our shuttle, which picks up guests from our hotel block, it will arrive for pickup at 3:00 PM and arrive at the ceremony by 3:20 PM.
We ask that you wear formal attire, such as a suit or a dress shirt with a tie. A cocktail midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates are also welcome. As this is a formal affair, please avoid t-shirts, jeans, or sneakers. We also kindly request that you refrain from wearing our wedding colors: wine red and light rose pink.
As much as we would love to celebrate with everyone, we have a limited capacity and can only accommodate the guests listed in your RSVP. We appreciate your understanding.
While we love your little ones, this wedding is strictly 21+ only. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
We will offer a wide range of dinner options, including vegan and vegetarian selections, but if you have a very specific dietary restriction, you can certainly reach out to let us know.
Yes, there is parking inside the venue. However, it is limited, so we recommend taking the shuttle we are providing at the hotel block, especially if you plan on drinking.
1) Toll Booths: In order to drive into Valle de Guadalupe you will need to pay for 3 different toll booths. These are cash only, and we suggest you pay in pesos, as your change will be more accurate and easier to calculate. Each toll booth ranges from $50 pesos- $55 pesos. So in order to drive through, we recommend having at least a total of $200 pesos minimum each way. Again, the smaller the bills, the better. 2) Gas: Gasoline in Mexico is measured in liters, not gallons, so make sure to know your conversions before pulling up to the gas station. There are also gas attendants in each station who will pump the gas for you; do not exit your car. When they pull up to your window, just let them know how many liters you will need. 3) Electric Vehicles: If you have an electric vehicle or a hybrid car, there will be a charging station 5 minutes from our hotel block. However, we still recommend having a full charge before making the drive over. 4) Driving Etiquette: Driving in Tijuana as you head into Valle de Guadalupe, is a little more aggressive than in the US. Make sure to always be alert and drive to the speed limit of those around you. The highways here, "La Rapida" look more like streets than freeways you might be used to. Drive confidently and you'll do well. Also, honking is not necessarily a sign of aggression, but rather a courtesy honk, so no worries if you hear a lot of honking in your direction.
1) Travel Documents: You need a valid passport to cross the border into Mexico. We recommend that all our guests apply for Global Entry if possible, to keep the wait time low when returning to the United States. If you have never driven across the border, just know that without Global Entry and during peak hours (Sundays from 11:00 AM-10:00 PM) the wait can range anywhere from 2-6 hours! 2) Money Exchange: Mexico uses pesos, and the exchange rate fluctuates constantly but is usually between 15-20pesos per dollar. While most places accept and prefer American dollars, we ask that you also exchange some money into pesos, as it will help. You should also always carry cash (the smaller the bills, the better) as you will need the to pay the toll booths when driving into Valle de Guadalupe.
