Our Story

How did we met?

Danny and Jasmine first met in 2016 in Bristol, England, at the Gym while both of them were studying in the UK. With no mutual friends nor did they study in the same university; they got to know each other as friends for 3 weeks and both went their separate ways back to their respective home countries - Germany and Malaysia. 1.5 years later mid-2018, their paths crossed again when Jasmine decided to embark on a Euro trip and reconnected with Danny. Jasmine visited Danny in Hamburg, Germany for 1 day as Danny is keen to show Jasmine around the city. Little did they both know, this was the start of something special! As Jasmine was based in Malaysia and Danny in Germany, the long distance relationship started from the beginning for 1.5 years. To be together and to end the long-distance, they chose Singapore as their home base where Danny relocated to in 2019 and Jasmine did so in 2020. Living together for 3.5 years (including 2 years during pandemic) was very fun with each other. Lotsa cooking, eating and exploring everything together. On 31 December 2022, in Sydney, Australia; Danny proposed to Jasmine and here we are getting married! **
