The first time I met Ian was 9 years ago and he was singing “Mr. Brightside” on a stage at the Sandbar on Surf City. Donning a plaid shirt and black converse shoes, he was easily the most charismatic person there that night and has been the most charismatic person in my life ever since. Baby Jeffrey Fitz was born March 5, 2025 and has been our world ever since! We are thrilled to have him join us in celebrating our love alongside our most precious family and friends! He brings a lot of energy to the party! And by energy we mean the occasional smile, cry, burp, etc. We love him no matter what the day brings!

Beloved Dog
Although Loki is not going to be in attendance at our wedding, we’d be remiss not to mention our furry little rat! He hails from Rancho Santa Fe, CA and has been a trusty companion for upwards of four years! Thankfully when we blended families, Toothless (Beloved Cat) and Loki developed a cordial relationship and have learned to cohabitate somewhat successfully, save the occasional cat fight.

Toothless is stealthy, healthy, and always wealthy (stocked up on treats). You could probably find him in his 11 foot cat tower lounging in his favorite hammock while we exchange our forever vows at CHG. But we know he will be with us in spirit, likely dreaming of when we will be home to give him his next Hill Science Diet Tender Tuna Dinner. Hang in there, bud!

As her name suggests, Angel is an angel. We’re so happy to have mom with us to celebrate! She has shown us so much love and support and we’re forever grateful for the ways she shows up for our family. If you spot her be sure to say hello! She loves a good cocktail and dance so you’ll probably find her with a cocktail in hand and dancing shoes ready to go!

Baby Jeffrey’s namesake. Ultimate foodie. Stylish shoe guru. Stock market connoisseur. Family man… and the list goes on. Dad has always been a champion for our relationship and family! He has been there for us in so many ways and thankful is an understatement. You most certainly will find him on the dance floor or gushing over how good the food tastes, or both. Likely both!

We truly believe there are angels on earth and Sonya is one of them. After meeting with Sonya for the first time well over a year ago we both knew Carolina Home & Garden would be the perfect place to celebrate our wedding! From day one she encouraged us to remain focused on our love so she could take care of the other details. We can’t thank her enough!
