Enjoy a leisurely stroll through some of the most beautiful red-rock gardens that the state has to offer.
Manitou Springs
Manitou Springs is just a short drive to the West of Downtown Colorado Springs. A great place to shop, dine, and find some vintage attractions, like the arcade and fudge shoppe!
Manitou Incline
If you’re feeling physically ambitious (and acclimated), the Manitou Incline is a draw from around the country for activity enthusiasts! Enjoy beautiful views as you climb up 2,000 vertical feet of inlaid steps. The climb sucks, but the views are worth it!
Old Colorado City
Old Colorado City is a hidden gem on the west side of Colorado Springs! This historic business district has plenty of cute shops and restaurants and would be a great way to spend an afternoon!
Gold Camp Road
Fancy a mountain drive? Gold camp road is an easy-going mountain road that will give you spectacular views of Colorado Springs. It’s also a great hiking/recreation area right outside of Colorado Springs
The Wild Goose Meeting House
One of Dannah’s favorite places to hang out in Colorado Springs; she spent many afternoons studying in undergraduate here! They serve coffee, food, wine, and often have music performances. A great place to chill out if you’re staying the weekend!
Pikes Peak
Visit the top of Pikes Peak! You can drive or take a tram to the top, and experience their famous gift shop/cafe! (We recommend you acclimate for a few days for this to avoid altitude sickness!)
Air Force Academy
The public is free to tour the Air Force base. If aviation is your thing, then this might be the attraction for you!
Golden Bee
The Golden Bee is a well known cocktail bar that sits on the property of the Broadmoor Hotel! A great place to grab some drinks and enjoy a finer atmosphere.
