Question

Why Cleveland?

Answer

Why not Cleveland! But you can blame Dan; he's here for residency and we thought it'd be nice (and soo much easier) to get married here and begin our next chapters together as husband and wife before moving to NYC. Cleveland has everything a major city would have just on a smaller (and much more accessible) scale including but not limited to--sports, museums, shows, and plenty of restaurants! It's also usually a very easy commute to anywhere if you have a car (see "Do I need to rent a car?")

Question

Do I Need to Rent a Car?

Answer

No, but it would certainly give you much more flexibility--Cleveland's Downtown area has plenty of activities to fill a weekend and enough restaurants to fill your stomach, but Cleveland has no good public transit option. With that said, Uber and Lyft are generally reasonable since traffic isn't an issue (but they do take some time to pick you up since the driver density isn't super high).

Question

Do I Need to Stay at the Venue Hotel

Answer

Not at all! The hotel gave us a block of rooms included with the wedding package, so we are by no means obligated to fill them. You can check out a few alternatives on the "Travel" section of our website (all within 5-10 min walk of the venue)!

Question

Why 2 Ceremonies?

Answer

Short answer: One of us is Catholic, the other Jewish. Longer answer: Faith is significant to the both of us, and we know Catholicism and Judaism are different. Conducting separate ceremonies would allow for both religions to have their respective equal "space" and that it would allow us to get married according to the traditions and teachings of both Judaism and Catholicism. We realize that having 2 ceremonies over 2 days is not ideal (and we would change it if we could). Therefore, we completely understand if you are only able to attend 1. The RSVP link allows for separate responses for each day.
