What will the weather be like?

Answer

Medellin is known to be the city of eternal Spring. During the day, it can go up to the mid-70s and at night to the low 60s. Where the wedding venue will be can get cold (55-60), so we suggest packing a sweater or jacket for the day of the wedding.

Medellin es conocida como la cuidad de la eterna primavera. Durante el día sube a 23º y por la noche puede llegar a 15º. El lugar del matrimonio puede llegar a 12° asi que les sugerimos empacar un suéter o chaqueta para por la noche.

Will we need transportation?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to and from each event, with pick-ups at the Click Clack and Novotel. For the friday event, buses will pick guests up at the Click Clack and Novotel at 3:00pm and will return to hotels at 9:00pm. On the day of the wedding, buses will pick guests up at the Click Clack and Novotel at 2:00pm and will return to the hotels between 11:00pm and 3:00am **It's important to note that you can't get Ubers or taxis from the wedding venue, so if you require separate transport, please reach out to Luis Calle +57 310 4473171 or Nelson +57 300 6141896 via WhatsApp

Se proporcionará transporte desde y hacia cada evento, con recogidas en el Click Clack y el Novotel. Para el evento del viernes, los buses saldran del Click Clack y del Novotel a las 3:00pm, y regresaran hacia los hoteles a las 9:00pm Para el dia del matrimonio, los buses saldran del Click Clack y del Novotel a las 2:00pm, y regresaran hacia los hoteles empezando a las 11:00pm hasta las 3:00am ** Es importante notar que desde el lugar del matrimonio no se consiguen Ubers o taxis, asi que si requieren transporte independiente por favor contacten a Luis Calle +57 310 4473171 o a Nelson +57 300 6141896

What specifics should I know about COVID-19 and traveling to Colombia?

Answer

The week of the wedding falls on Semana Santa (meaning certain services are unavailable), so if you're traveling back to the US after the wedding, please make a COVID testing appointment as soon as possible as the lab needs to know how many tests to have ready for Saturday and/or Sunday. The easiest way to book one is to contact Yurani, our main point of contact with the lab. She will arrange a test in your respective hotel/Airbnb. You can reach her via WhatsApp at +57 301 421 2724 to make an appointment Antigen tests - 105,000 COP (~$28 USD) PCR tests - 220,000 COP (~$58 USD) If you're unable to make an appointment with Yurani in time, or just forgot to make one🙃, this lab will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm. These tests are not on-demand/in-room but are a 5-10 minute drive from the Click Clack Hotel. What is the best way to get around Medellín?

Answer

Getting around the city is fairly simple. Uber is the best and easiest way to get around. It is also possible to take a taxi however, be sure to have the hotel or restaurant call one for you. They will recommend a taxi company that is registered and properly insured. We currently DO NOT recommend taking the metro to get around.

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event (aside from the groom's niece and nephew) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening! However, we understand that some of you will need to travel with your children. If that's the case, please let us know. That way we can plan ahead for the ceremony and help you arrange care at the hotel during the reception so that you can enjoy the festivities. Thank you!

Aunque queremos mucho a sus pequeños, nuestra boda será un evento solo para adultos (con la excepción de los sobrinitos del novio) para que todos puedan relajarse y disfrutar de la noche. Sin embargo, entendemos que muchos de ustedes estarán viajado con niños. Si ese es el caso, por favor déjanos saber con anticipación para hacer los arreglos necesarios durante la ceremonia y ayudarlos a encontrar opciones de cuidado durante la recepción para que puedan disfrutar de la celebración.
