Question

What is the plan for handling COVID?

Answer

We have several family and friends in attendance that are part of the high risk demographic due to age and existing health conditions. In order to keep these guests safe and comfortable, we are requesting that all of our guests take a rapid COVID test the day of the wedding. At the ceremony we will have rapid tests available for every guest. You are welcome to show up a little early (the tests take 15 minutes to show a result) and take a test there. Or if you would rather take it before arriving you can get free tests through CVS or Walgreens with your insurance. We really appreciate your help keeping our loved ones safe! If anyone does test positive we have N95 masks available for them and would invite them to stay for only the outdoor portion of the celebration (ceremony and cocktail hour) while masking.

What about using Uber or Lyft for transportation?

Answer

Uber and Lyft will often bring guests to The Wilds, but have rarely serviced The Wilds for pick-up. It's important to know that you should not to count on these services for your return transportation.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue? What if I need to leave a car overnight?

Answer

Yes, the venue has a parking lot. We want to encourage safety and guests are welcome to leave their cars at the venue but they will need to be picked up by 10am the next morning.

What should I wear?

Answer

There isn't an official dress code. We'll be dressed up and happy to see you in your fancy digs but really we're just excited to celebrate with you.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. The ceremony is under a covered pavilion. Our reception will take place indoors (air conditioned).
