If you’re traveling from the mainland U.S., we highly recommend renting a car. It’s the easiest way to explore different spots around the island. Uber is available, but it can get pricey if you're here for a few days. Puerto Rico is gorgeous, and having a car lets you check out more places and really make the most of your weekend.
In the San Juan area, we personally recommend Cayo Caribe, Metropol and La Casita Blanca — all are great picks! As for what to try, definitely go for: - Mofongo (a Puerto Rican classic!) - Tostones (crispy fried plantains) with Mayo Ketchup - a good Puerto Rican coffee (Cafe Cuatro Sombras, Don Ruiz Coffee, 787 Coffee) - And don’t miss a Piña Colada — it was invented in Puerto Rico! (La Casita Blanca makes an amazing one)
We’d love to celebrate our special day with everyone, but we would like to keep things small and intimate, limiting our invites to close family and friends, so that we can have a meaningful time focused on our guests.
Puerto Rico is warm year-round, usually in the 80s during the day. Evenings can be breezy, so bringing a light layer is a good idea. And since it is the Caribbean, a quick rain shower here and there is totally normal!
If you’re coming from the mainland U.S., no passport is needed! Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, so it’s the same as flying to another state. Just bring your real ID.
Think tropical! Light clothing, comfy shoes, a swimsuit, sunscreen, and sunglasses. If you plan on exploring nature or walking around Old San Juan, bring sneakers. And don’t forget beach stuff!
Yes—cell service works just like it does in the mainland U.S., and most hotels, restaurants, and Airbnbs have Wi-Fi.
Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) is super close—about 10–15 minutes from most areas in San Juan, depending on traffic.
A few favorites: - Exploring Old San Juan - Visiting El Morro or Castillo San Cristóbal - Spending a day at one the beautiful beaches - Condado Beach or Isla Verde or Luquillo Beach - Taking a trip to El Yunque Rainforest - Enjoying local restaurants and cafés
Yes! There’s parking available at the venue with a $5 parking fee collected at the entrance.
We would greatly appreciate if you can confirm your participation to our wedding by Friday, January 16th, 2026. Please confirm by this deadline so we can plan ahead and count you for the reception.
We suggest a cocktail or formal wedding attire, a balance between elegant and comfortable clothing choices. For women, tea-length, knee-length, or midi look would be appropriate. Men could choose a formal to semi formal attire.
