Do we have an obligation to test for Covid-19 prior to attending?

Answer

Prior to attending, we trust that all guests will complete a PCR or RAT test for Covid-19 in order to protect themselves, our guests and our suppliers. A number of guests attending are elderly, have underlying medical conditions, or are especially vulnerable to COVID 19. If you choose not to take a test prior to the wedding or in the event that you do test positive, we regretfully ask that you are not present on the day as the circumstance poses too high a risk toward elderly and vulnerable people who will be present on the day. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

Where and how can I arrange accommodation?

Answer

For our guests who wish to stay overnight, we have reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Mercure Gerringong Resort. Please call their reservations department on (02) 4234 1359 and quote "Leigh Wedding 2022". Alternatively, there are other accommodation options available in Gerringong, Kiama and surrounds that range in ratings should you have this as your preference.

Can I park at Seacliff House?

Answer

Guests will not be permitted to park at Seacliff House. For your convenience, complimentary bus transfers will be provided to and from the venue from allocated local pick-up points. When you RSVP, please advise where you will be staying as this will determine your local pick up point.

How will I know where and when to board the bus to and from the venue?

Answer

When submitting your RSVP on this website, please let us know where you'll be staying in the local area, or if you will not be organising accommodation. We will confirm your bus pick-up point and time closer to the date.

What if we decide not to arrange accommodation?

Answer

Please note parking is not permitted at Seacliff House. There is very limited off-site parking in the local area. Please let us know if you will not be arranging accommodation and we will provide you with details of off-site parking locations serviced by our bus transfers to the venue.

What if we are checking into our accommodation on the day of the wedding?

Answer

If you are driving up on the Saturday morning, it's very likely that hotel check-in time will be after the bus pick-up time. Our recommendation would be to check with your hotel to arrange for early check-in, or book to arrive the night before. If early check-in is not available at your hotel, we would recommend having the hotel reception hold your bags and board the bus directly from the hotel. Please ensure you allow enough time to arrive at the hotel, drop off your bags, and make your way to the assigned bus pick up point prior to your pick up time.

Will I be able to leave Seacliff House throughout the event?

Answer

Unfortunately guests are unable to leave the grounds during the course of the event. However, should there be an emergency, please advise Veronica (Maid of honour) who will be able to arrange transport back to your place of stay or vehicle. Please note, once you leave the venue, you will not be able to return.

What if I am running late and miss the bus?

Answer

You will need to organise your own transport to the venue. Please note, parking is unavailable at Seacliff House. Local taxi and rideshare services are extremely limited in the area and not guaranteed so please ensure you arrive with plenty of time to board the bus.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is "Cocktail attire". This is a balance between formal/casual and elegant/comfortable. We recommend bringing outerwear in case there is breeze.

I would like to bring a gift, what should I bring?

Answer

Should you wish to celebrate with a gift, a wishing well will be available at the reception for your contribution and best wishes.
