The Gardens are absolutely gorgeous. They are open until 4:45pm daily. We encourage guests to stroll through and take some pictures before the ceremony, we are!
Ivy City has some great distilleries such as Green Hat, One Eighth, Republic Restorative; great breweries such as Other Half and Atlas Brewing; a cool rooftop winery; and various other restaurants and shopping all in the same area!
Union Market is an indoor food market with various stalls from different food vendors- including meats, cheeses, ramen, noodles, korean, indian, etc. It's every changing and perfect for a causal but amazing bite! The surrounding area has amazing food, drinks and shops including breweries (Red Bear) and distilleries (Cotton and Reed).
The Mall is where you can see the Capitol, White House, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and WWII memorial. We recommend metroing to the mall.
