Cole and Danielle met in April 2024 at Studio 22 in Dallas. They were both in the same two step class. The first time Cole saw Danielle, he thought, “Wow, she is so beautiful.” She walked in with a bright smile and greeted everyone in the room. He was immediately drawn to her warmth and kindness. They introduced themselves and danced together several times that day. When class ended, Cole left wishing he had made a stronger connection. At the very next class, he decided he would not miss his chance. Afterward, he asked Danielle if she would like to walk out together. By the time they reached the parking lot, he said, “If you are free, would you like to get together sometime?” Caught off guard but smiling, Danielle replied, “Suuuure.” During their first few dates, Danielle quickly found herself intrigued. She was drawn to how grounded, open, and engaging Cole was. They bonded over music, their shared faith, and their deep love for their families. Over the next few months, they steadily grew closer and learned more about each other with each conversation. On July 13, 2024, Danielle met Cole’s family, which was a meaningful step for both of them. Later that evening, Cole asked Danielle to be his girlfriend. Without hesitation, she said, “Yes!” In August 2024, Cole met Danielle’s entire family at her sister Camila and Riley’s wedding in Maine. That trip marked a pivotal moment in their relationship. Meeting each other’s families deepened their bond and strengthened their commitment to building a life together. In October 2024, Cole, Danielle, and Danielle’s dog Penny traveled to New Mexico to visit Danielle’s parents in Jemez Springs. They spent time hiking, exploring, and attending the Albuquerque Balloon Festival, adding another chapter of shared adventure and joy. Over the following year, they continued creating countless memories with friends and family, strengthening the foundation of their relationship. In September 2025, the two traveled to Spain with Cole’s family. On September 26, 2025, in the heart of Parque de Retiro in Madrid, Cole asked Danielle to marry him. Afterward, Dee and Miguel Plana surprised her, and together they celebrated with Cole’s parents, sister, and brother in law.
