For those who are coming from out of town and need something to do the AM before the wedding, start off your morning with a trip to the Edenton Farmers Market! It’s a small market that’s both outside and inside, and it has a range of items from food to crafts to apothecary items.
Penelope Barker House
The Penelope Barker House is the home of the Edenton Historical Commission, the Historic Edenton Trolley Tour, and the Barker House Shop. It is also conveniently located close to the Herringbone!
1886 Roanoke River Lighthouse
The 1886 Roanoke River Lighthouse is a historic museum managed by North Carolina State Historic Sites. It is open from Tue-Sat, 10-4 for guided docent tours. It is also conveniently located close to the Penelope Barker House and Herringbone Edenton:)
