What is the dress code?

Semi-formal or cocktail attire. The ceremony and reception will take place indoors.

What time should guests arrive to the ceremony and reception?
Answer
For the ceremony, please plan to arrive about 15 minutes early to get settled and seated—we can’t wait to share this special moment with you! The reception will kick off at 5:00pm!

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?
Answer
In the meantime, enjoy a little break—feel free to relax and refresh at your hotel or stop by a nearby local favorite like Silver Bell, Hornville Tavern, or Darmstadt Inn. These are all just a short distance from the church/reception, and they’re great spots to unwind before the celebration continues! Please refer to the "Things to Do" tab for more ideas!

Will the venues have parking?
Answer
Yes -- both St. Wendel and Bauerhaus will have plenty of free parking.

Are there hotel room blocks?
Answer
Yes! A block of rooms have been reserved at the Hampton Inn Evansville Airport. Please reserve by October 14th, 2026. Our website also lists several other potential accommodations to choose from.

Will there be transportation?
Answer
If you are staying in the reserved room block, the hotel will run a free shuttle to and from the Bauerhaus twice. Otherwise, we encourage guests to use rideshares, such as Uber or Lyft. It is encouraged rideshares are booked ahead of time to ensure a safe, reliable ride.

Please refer to the "RSVP" tab on our wedding website. Enter your full name and respond accordingly.

Can I bring my kids and/or a plus one?
Answer
Due to the capacity with our reception venue, we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What if I have dietary needs/restrictions?
Answer
Please reach out to Wade or Danielle at least 1 month before the wedding date to allow them to accommodate your needs.
