Best Airport to Fly Into For ease and convenience, we recommend flying into Catania–Fontanarossa Airport (CTA). It’s the most direct route to our venue—Borgo del Carato in Siracusa—and typically takes about one hour or less by car depending on traffic. Why Catania? • There are direct flights on Delta, especially handy if you’d like to redeem or earn SkyMiles. • From Catania, lots of transportation options: rental cars, private transfers, or taxis—choose whatever suits your budget and preferences. Rent a Car at the Airport If you’d like freedom to explore or need flexibility, renting a car is a great option. Most major providers (Enterprise, Hertz, Sixt, Europcar) have desks right inside arrivals. We recommend booking in advance, choose automatic if you’re unfamiliar with manuals, and noting any fuel or extra driver fees. IMPORTANT: We recommend adding the collision insurance when renting a car in Sicily, unless you know for sure that your credit card provides int’l coverage. It’s a small daily fee that can save you a big headache if your car gets a scratch or dent (very common on Sicilian roads!) Private Transfers & Taxis You can book a private transfer for a fixed fee of around €50–90, or take a traditional taxi from CTA to the venue for about €140–180. Public Bus + Taxi For budget-conscious travelers: • Take the Interbus from the airport to Siracusa (~€6, ~1h10m), then get a quick taxi to Borgo del Carato. • Or, take a bus to Priolo Gargallo, and switch to a local taxi from there (~€34–45, ~1h13m total). Nearby Lodging for Overflow Guests A few highly rated stays close to Borgo del Carato: La Mela di Venere, Domus Hyblaea Resort, and Feudo Bauly. For our dates (July 19–22, 2026), some sites may not show availability this far ahead—if you don’t see our dates online, please contact the hotel directly to check or hold a room.

There are 26 rooms, and the early birds get the worm so PLEASE CONTACT US ASAP if you want to stay here! To help us cover the costs, I’ll include our Zelle information so you can send reimbursement directly. We’re so excited to have you right at the venue with us—it’s going to make the celebration even more special! Breakfast is included each day for all guests staying at the Borgo.
