we're getting married ... finally!

Both studying Biology at the University of Southern Indiana, having classes together was common. But it wasn't until one spring semester Neill decided to cut off his long luscious locks that Danielle actually took notice! Danielle plotted to make Neill her next boyfriend so, group study dates turned into dinner dates, and somewhere along the way they were just kind of together. Neill always planned to move out west after graduation so staying together meant Danielle needed to move as well. Eight years later, they'd say it all worked out pretty well in the end!

An epic vacation to Iceland sounds like the perfect proposal spot! After searching high and low for a ring in the house, Danielle came up empty handed before heading to the airport! But she should have known, Neill always has a plan. Proposal plan A was ruined by the weather, plan B was ruined by Danielle, so plan C it was. In their room at the cutest guesthouse in Seydisfjordur, Neill got down on one knee with a bouquet of flowers, a big 'ol diamond, and in his always eloquent manner proposed with, "so we gonna do this?" Danielle's response? "Neill, did you steal those flowers from the table in the hallway?" They laughed, because of course Neill had stolen the flowers, he has a tendency to take what he wants! It was such a Neill proposal, which made it perfect. Oh, and obviously Danielle said yes!

Celebrating at the perfect venue nestled in the beautiful Rocky Mountains and being surrounded by our family and friends will make everything about this day a dream come true. We are so proud of the life we have created for ourselves here in Colorado, and are looking forward to our future as husband and wife. We can't wait to share our love with you as we begin our chapter of forever!
