Are children invited?

Answer

Strictly enforced. Due to [space/constraints or safety restrictions], we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Strictly enforced. Due to a limited guest count a plus-one is prohibited unless you have been extended the option. All non RSVP guest an un-invited guest will not receive access to the ceremony or reception.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Strictly enforced. This is an unplugged ceremony. We ask that you kindly adhere to our wishes, as we want to make sure the professional photographer & videographer can capture all aspects of our special day without interference. You're more than welcome to take pictures at the start of our "Love Walk" experience and during reception.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Strictly enforced. Doors will open at promptly 5:30PM and close at 5:55PM for ceremony to begin at 6PM. (Guest will be checked in based on RSVP acknowledgement)

If I arrive to ceremony late, will I be allowed in?

Answer

Strictly enforced. Any guest who arrive after 5:50PM will have to wait in their vehicle until the ceremony is over. You will be checked in at the door and will receive a text message once venue access is available.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Our guest hotel is the Homewood Suites by Hilton Lafayette-Airport which is 5 minutes from ceremony location. Please see travel tab for further details.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal: Cocktail dresses and jumpsuits, suits and ties, etc.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

The ceremony is located at the Petroleum Club of Lafayette "111 Heymann Blvd, Lafayette, LA 70503" on the corner of Heymann Blvd and Pinkhook.

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience. (Monetary Blessings Are Preferred)

Any future updates would be adjusted on the website accordingly and a text message sent if needed.

Is alcohol allowed?

Answer

Strictly enforced. The bride and groom have decided to have an alcohol free ceremony and reception. We ask that you respect their decision and refrain from bringing any outside beverages. Bringing a personal flask or beverage container is also prohibited. All beverages will be provided by venue servers throughout the night. Bringing outside alcohol/beverages will result in the bride and groom having to pay an extra fee.
