FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Sooner than later! The sooner you RSVP, the easier it is for us budget and plan accordingly! The last day to RSVP is December 15, 2019.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We have our registry through Zola! See "Registry" at the top to explore. We are also registered at Target & West Elm, which is a little less apparent on this website, but there are links on the top of the "Registry" page that will take you directly to each site when you click.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have blocked off rooms at the Omni Hotel Southpark and SpringHill Suites by Marriott Austin South. Both are within miles of the venue. Please call to reserve referencing the Docherty/Coursey wedding. If you would like to try a boutique hotel close by, we recommend the Carpenter Hotel! Use the code EVERAFTER2020 for 15% off your stay. Book sooner than later!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to accommodate for parking. We will start promptly at 4:30. We are in Austin, so naturally, plan for traffic. On the flip side, please do not arrive more than 30 minutes early, as we will be completing the finishing touches for our big day!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There are 75 parking spots, so carpool if possible. If the parking spots at the main entrance are full, there is an overflow lot that signs will direct you to once you arrive. This goes without saying, but if you plan on drinking, please designate a driver or use a rideshare option. We want you to enjoy your time at our wedding. We chose to have a wedding in the city so that our guests would be a short Lyft or Uber away from a surplus of hotels.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable during our wedding, so please wear whatever you'd like. That being said, it is a wedding, so if you choose to wear birkenstocks and a t-shirt, you may stick out like a sore thumb ;) Our ceremony will be outside and reception indoors. Historically, this time of year is in the 50s and low 60s, so plan on bringing a jacket for the ceremony.
