Our Story

Jess and Danielle met on Tinder, of all places, in 2019. Jess had noted she was a chef in her bio, so Danielle cleverly said, “I’ll make dessert if you make dinner.” Jess laughed and found it charming even though it was incredibly corny. A few weeks later, they had their first date. Jess says she knew Danielle was the one only just a week later. COVID hit about 6 months into their relationship, and Danielle and Jess were confined to being indoors. They bonded even more over puzzles, fruity pebbles, TikToks, and Schitt’s Creek. Then, Jess’ sister, Sara, threw a wonderful COVID style car parade for her husband, Tim, the day before an important surgery. Danielle was in awe of all the support from so many of their loved ones. Unfortunately, Tim did not come back from that surgery, and Jess and Danielle were there with her sister and niece the day he passed. Jess and Danielle spent many days with the both of them as well as Jess’ mom over the next several months, creating a truly special bond. Jess was also welcomed by Danielle’s family, more so than any other partner she had ever had. All of her family members adore Jess and have considered her part of the family from the very beginning. Jess and Danielle have a love for travel and new adventures, with the beach holding a special place in their hearts. From Hampton Beach to Myrtle Beach to Charleston to the Outer Banks, the beach is where you’re most likely find them! Although, they’ve also been known to love a good trip to the mountains in VT and NH, a stroll down Main Street in Northampton, or a short, witchy trip to Salem. While they did end up separating for about a year and half, after some self-growth and a clear inability to stay away from each other, in March of 2024, Danielle and Jess began their journey together again. They took it slow at first, but then it was clear that they were truly meant to be. Just 8 months later, they were engaged. Jess had her family set up a wonderful display in a park in November. She had a whole speech planned but immediately forgot it when she got down on one knee and simply blurted out, “Will you marry me?” Danielle laughed and said, “Yes!”
