What's a trip to Long Island without a beach trip! Jones Beach is tons of fun and frequently has live concerts/shows throughout the summer. Definitely recommend spending some time here if you have the time.
If you're on the lookout for a quieter beach experience, then I'd have to point you to this one!
Surf Shack is probably one of the most quintessential long island experiences you can have... food, beach and sun. Don't forget your SPF!
Additional eats by the beach!
A botanical garden type experience for those who are nature-inclined!
Dwight D. Eisenhower was the 34th president. He was an American military officer and statesman who served as the 34th president of the United States from 1953 to 1961. During World War II, he served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force in Europe, and achieved the rare five-star rank of General of the Army. He did important things, but when he wasn't doing important things, he always enjoyed a nice day at the park. We can all stand to be a little more like Ike!
"Wow... now that's some good Italian food!" ~ You, if you try this spot!
You ever read the Great Gatsby? Me neither, but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying a night out with a great meal by the water!
One of our favorite tapas spots! Only try this place out if you like wine, meat and cheese.
A nice Italian spot with good ambiance.
If you're looking for a day by the water with lots of restaurants, fresh seafood, bars clubs and open air... this is your destination!
For those guests who would like to explore a new museum, tour a mansion and see the stars through a planetarium.
A wedding guest, a plus one and a stand-up comedian walk into a bar...
Some people call it the 6th borough of Long Island... but that doesn't mean it's not worth exploring! There's plenty to do in the area called "Manhattan" and - for our guests flying in from afar - we recommend making a longer vacation out of this trip to explore all that NYC has to offer!
