Listed below are each event and their dress code: Rehearsal Dinner: Semi Formal, Cocktail Attire - For women: Dresses/pant suits, jumpsuits, or rompers - For men: suits are perfect Church Ceremony: Semi-formal though you may also wear more formal clothes if you do not wish to change before the reception. - Women can wear skirts, dresses, shirts with dress pants, slacks, gowns or pant suits. - Can consider wearing a cover or light jacket if women are concerned outfit may be too revealing for church. - Men can wear dress shirts and pants with or without a jacket, suits or tuxes with dress shoes. Wedding Reception: Dress code is formal. - Women can wear cocktail dresses, gowns (floor-length optional) or pant suits. - Men can wear suits or tuxes with dress shoes.
As of 12/27/2021: It is the policy of our venue that all guests must either (1) have a negative COVID test result taken up to 3 days prior to the wedding , or (2) be fully vaccinated from COVID. At this time, guests are not required to wear a mask at the Royalton on the Greens Country Club. All of the staff at the Royalton are fully vaccinated by employment requirement and are masked during all events. *Please continue to check this section regularly to stay up-to-date about the latest health and safety measures and requirements*
If you are not fully vaccinated and need to test for COVID prior to the wedding, please plan ahead to make sure you are able to get tested within the 3-days leading to the wedding. For New York State residents, you may search for the nearest testing center to you by using the following link: https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/find-test-site-near-you . You may also schedule an appointment with your primary care doctor, or go to your nearest pharmacy to secure an at home testing kit.
Yes- everyone invited is allowed to bring one guest so long as they are RSVP'ed with us prior to wedding day.
We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Unfortunately we can't accommodate children who are not our flower girls at our venue.
The ceremony and reception will be indoors, though the reception venue will have ample outdoor area to spend time in as well.
By Memorial Day weekend, the weather has generally warmed quickly with afternoon temperatures reaching into the low to mid-70s F (22-24 C). A few of the warmer days will see temperatures reaching into the mid-80s F. (28-29 C). An afternoon high of 90 F (32 C) or higher is possible, occurring on 1 day in May in 2 out of 3 years. Of course, we recommend checking the weather closer to the date to prepare for whatever the forecast may bring!
The ceremony will likely end around 3:45pm and guests should arrive at the Royalton on the Greens Country Club by 6:30pm as the cocktail hour starts at 7pm. For guests who arrive at the Royalton by 6:30pm, there is a lobby area with seating where one can await the beginning of cocktail hour. Limited beverages will be served during this wait period. The cocktail hour will be from 7pm to 8pm, followed by the reception which will be from 8pm to 12am, followed by the after-party which will be from 12am to 1:30am. During the gap period of approximately 3 hours between the end of the ceremony and the beginning of cocktail hour, the wedding party and others will be taking pictures in a separate location while the majority of guests will have a gap of time. During this time, we recommend that you either return home or to the hotel to take a brief break and make any clothing changes as needed.

We recommend that you arrive at 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
At St. James Church, there is free parking available at the parking lot located at the church. At the Royalton on the Greens Country Club, there is valet parking available. There is limited non-valet parking available at the Royalton and guests may find additional parking areas within the nearby community as well.
The cocktail hour and reception are located at the Royalton on the Greens Country Club. We recommend that guests who are driving try to arrive 15-25 minutes early to allow ample time to navigate the area, especially if you choose not to valet your car as additional time may be needed to find parking.

The Royalton on the Greens Country Club is located within a gated community. When you arrive at the gate, inform them that you are a guest at our wedding reception and you will be directed the rest of the way. Of note, the above directions apply to guests who are driving and not taking the shuttle service from the Vianna Hotel & Spa.
Yes, we reserved a block of hotel rooms at the two hotel locations noted in the "Travel" section of the website. Please refer to the Travel section for more details.
The RSVP deadline is no later than April 29th, 2022. Guests can RSVP either through mailing back of the RSVP or through this website.

Shuttle service will be provided for select times for guests staying at the Viana Hotel. Guests will be responsible for their own transportation outside of the above listed shuttle service. To go from the hotel to the reception, a shuttle will provide transportation from the Viana Hotel & Spa to the Royalton on the Greens at 6:30pm. To go from the reception/after-party back to the hotel, a shuttle will provide transportation from the Royalton on the Greens to the Viana Hotel & Spa once an hour from 10:30pm to 2:30am (10:30pm, 11:30pm, 12:30am, 1:30am, 2:30am)
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #livinlavidalewis so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
