A fantastic FREE zoo centered in the middle of Lincoln Park
The 606
Our favorite weekend activity is to walk along the 606. This old elevated railroad has been converted into a 2.7 mile path where you will find tons of walkers, runners and bikers. It is also one of the best places for dog/puppy spotting :)

Kincade's Bar & Grill
While this is just your neighborhood bar, this is the spot where we met up for an Iowa game back in September 2017 which kicked off the adventure leading up to our wedding day!! Also, Danielle lived directly across the street, for 2 years and was living here when we started dating. Needless to say, Kincade's has a spot in our hearts!
Summer House Santa Monica
This is definitely the closest restaurant to our reception and has an AMAZING dessert bar right when you walk in the door. It is also connected to a pizza restaurant, Stella Barra, which has a great happy hour from 4 to 6pm in the bar area!
Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba!
Another favorite and close by our reception venue. Happy Hour from 4 to 6pm in the bar area - make sure to grab sangria, the deviled egg, bacon wrapped dates and spicy potatoes - our favorites!
