Danielle and Edwind met in 2006, when Danielle moved to Champaign, IL from Chicago, IL. During that time, Danielle admitted to having a crush on Edwind while they both attended the same junior high school. Edwind, being young and naive, didn't take much consideration in her interest at the time, but would later figure out what he was missing. In 2014, Danielle and Edwind reconnected in Chicago, while they both were in college. The reconnection came at the forefront of a technique that Edwind calls "cluster liking" on social media, where he spent time "liking" multiple instagram pictures on Danielle's profile. Danielle, who was privy to the game that was being played, decided to make the bold move to direct message Edwind first. After several long nights of Facetime calls and phone calls, Danielle and Edwind went on their first date at The Wit in downtown Chicago. Their first date was nothing short of electrifying and it led to many more dates in the days ahead. On April 20, 2015, Danielle and Edwind made it "Facebook Official" and decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend. Their time together has had its ups and downs as they were in a long distant relationship for 4 out of the 6 years that they have been together. Although maneuvering long distances was tough, their loved proved to be stronger than the adversity that the distance had created. On December 21, 2019, Edwind, filled with nerves and 1 piece of bread, asked Danielle for her hand in marriage at The Signature Room on the 95th floor of the John Hancock building. Danielle, who was filled with great emotion and happiness, decided that she wanted to start the wedding planning as soon as Edwind got off his knee. Edwind, who all of a sudden worked up an appetite after getting off his knee, only wanted to focus on the task at hand... finishing dinner. Today, Danielle and Edwind are so thrilled about their marriage and look forward to having a great time with family and friend's on May 29, 2021!
