FAQs

The Wedding Website of Danielle Deavens and Doug Spencer
Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. Tuxedos, dark suits with ties, floor length dresses, and formal jumpsuits are all appropriate. No white dresses, jumpsuits, or dinner jackets, please.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place indoors. If the weather permits, at cocktail hour (between ceremony and reception) we will have access to an outdoor balcony overlooking the iconic Philadelphia city hall—perfect for pictures.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Hug your little ones for us, but this is an adults-only affair so everyone can relax and enjoy our fun-filled celebration.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to be sure we can accommodate all who are invited. Only those listed on your invitation should attend. For those with an unnamed plus-one listed on their invitation, please be sure to share their name with us when you RSVP.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes. The ceremony and reception will be held on the third floor of the Kimmel Cultural Campus, which is accessible by elevator. There are wheelchair accessible restrooms on all three floors of the venue.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes. We will have passed hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, a full sit down dinner at the reception, and an open bar throughout. Please enjoy responsibly.
