If you are looking for last-minute clothes or just want to go for a stroll, visit Michigan city's outdoor mall! It's one of our favorite spots. Oh! And make sure to get a photo at the giant chair!
Bar Louie - Granger
$$ One of our favorite restaurants is actually attached to our apartment complex! We highly recommend the buffalo mac 'n cheese, but don't worry, this gastropub has lots to offer!
Central Park
This was our favorite date spot; from picnics in the park to late-night strolls down the river, we have shared many a memory here.
Koto Casual Asian Dining

Feel free to stroll around and check out Danielle's college campus! Note that Notre Dame is right across the street and is also great to walk around!

$$ If you love Cajun food check out this spot (just avoid getting any burgers). Their Painkiller drink is amazing but so are their complementary honey butter croissants.

If you are looking for a fun outing this weekend, visit our favorite mini golf and karaoke bar. Make sure to try some mochi and do the ninja gold challenge!

If you are wanting to see a movie this weekend check out this theater. Bring a blanket and hunker down in some of their cozy recliners!

$ If you're like Chase, you have a sweet tooth that goes crazy late at night. Grab a box of warm, delicious cookies, milk, and ice cream here from 11am to 12am. (They have vegan desserts too!)
University Park Mall
If you are looking to stroll around or grab some emergency clothes or gifts visit the mall. They have a variety of great stores and, Danielle's favorite, boba tea!

$ If you are down for a bougie coffee with great aesthetics, this is one of Danielle's favorite spots. (However Starbucks is fine too)
Chicory Cafe Mishawaka
$ We have gone here a several dates and love sitting outside when they have live music. Definitely try their beignets and grab a weekly special.
Woochi Japanese Fusion & Bar
$$$ Our favorite date night splurge. They have the best sushi around and fantastic aesthetics!
Vanilla Bean Creamery
$ One of the locations of our early dates, this spot has some of the best specialty ice creams around! They have an additional location in Granger.
St Pius X Church
If you are looking to attend a mass that isn't as crazy as the basilica, try Danielle's church.

Hotdog Eddy's
$ One of the best little spots in Elkhart. Though they have obscure hours their specialty hot dogs are worth the visit. We love walking in and enjoying a glass of soda. The restaurant is warm, aesthetic, and cozy.
Uptown Kitchen
$$ Right across the street from us, we love this brunch spot! Chase's favorite is the Lox Bagel with an Elvis Smoothie (with a shot of espresso) and Danielle adores their Caprese Omelet with a Vanilla Cappucino.
Bare Bones Gastropub
$$ For a slightly bougee-r burger than what you would get at a normal bar.
Trattoria Enzo
$$ The best Italian food in La Porte.
Nick's Patio
$ If you are looking for some late-night food, this is the place to go. Open 24 hours, this little mom 'n pop restaurant has been the home of some great memories.
Kodachrome Coffee
$ This is Danielle's favorite local cafe. The atmosphere is very peaceful and the hot vanilla chai!
Soho Japanese Bistro
$$ This place is near and dear to our hearts. Their afternoon bento box never disappoints especially underneath their twinkling lights.

$$ The sweetest little cafe with both coffee and lunch plates. The portions are a little small but what they serve is fantastic!
