Glen Island Park
Our venue, once a casino from the Big Band era fame, is on an island with a state park of 130 acres! Check out the rocky beach with views of the Long Island Sound and the active marina. Find architecture dating to the days of John Starin’s resort in 1879.

Sleepy Hollow
Not too far away, a beautiful area to visit during October with lots of education hot spots like Washington Irving’s home and the legendary Headless Horseman Bridge. Check out the restaurant Horsefeathers!
Tarrytown
One of our favorite towns, stop by in the afternoon on Saturday for their Farmers Market and look out for Brendan’s favorite whiskey company Coopers Daughter. We recommend a restaurant next door called RiverMarket Bar and Kitchen for a nice lunch!
Castle Hotel & Spa - Luxury Hotel near NYC
If you need to relax, this spa is in a historic castle built 1897-1910. We have stayed here for Valentine’s Day and the old architecture is beautiful!
Wilkens Fruit & Fir Farm
Nothing is better than going to a farm in fall! This farm has a pumpkin patch, apple orchard, market, and winery. Perfect for all ages!

Check out the country’s oldest winery, Brotherhood Winery in Washingtonville NY, Legoland in Goshen NY, Angry Orchard Cider House in Walden NY, take a river cruise in Kingston or Poughkeepsie, or check out where we went to school in New Paltz NY for hiking / rock scrambling at Mohonk Mountain House (where Stephen King wrote The Shining), great German food at Mountaun Brauhaus, or walking (drinking) the Main Street!
