Their story began in 2017, at the Detroit Police Department's 9th Precinct. After working together frequently, Amir and Danielle quickly got to know each other in the confines of a scout car. Eventually, Amir finally asked Danielle out. That night, July 31st, joined by friends and family, the two met up at Mr. B’s in Royal Oak to celebrate Amir’s brother Shabaka’s birthday. Two days later, they planned their first official date. On August 2, the pair met at Garden Bowl for a friendly game of bowling and the rest was history!
