Wedding Party

Gianna Ploe

Matron of Honor

Hi! I’m Gianna and I am Danielle’s Matron of Honor! I love this photo of us. It was so much fun to explore Asheville on the trolley and see the city. Also, let’s not forget we thought we were going to get stuck and both of us trying to call to make sure the last trolley was going to pick us up. Just a memory I feel like describe our crazy relationship and also how we make the most of your time together since we never know when we will see each other next. Always a fun time that we have when drinking wine, watching murder documentaries and having the dogs entertain each other.

Riley Burgart

Maid of Honor

Hi! I’m Riley and I’m Lanie’s Maid of Honor! Lanie and I have known each other since we were just little sprouts, but we really became close friends during the summers we worked together at the pool. Those long, sun-soaked days - full of tiny victories, endless laughs, and a few horrid late-night swims - somehow became the perfect place for our lifelong friendship to bloom. We have always been able to pick right back up at the most random points in our lives and I’m excited to be right by her side as a bride!

Lauren Askew

Bridesmaid

Hi! I’m Lauren and I’m Danielle’s Bridesmaid! One of my favorite memories with Danielle is having her stand by my side on my wedding day! Especially getting ready together and dancing in the bridesmaids suite before the ceremony. So grateful to be by her side on her special day!

Talie Breitbach

Honorary Bridesmaid

Howdy everyone! For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Talie, Lanie’s sister and I am her honorary bridesmaid. Growing up together on our family farm, we spent most of our childhood outside, our days filled with endless adventures that only farm kids can have. I’m so incredibly excited and full of joy to stand by Lanie and Danielle on their special day and cannot wait to celebrate with everyone!

Morgan Riley

Bridesmaid

Hi! I’m Morgan and I’m Danielle’s bridesmaid! I met Danielle freshman year of college and we have been best friends ever since. I actually prefer to call her Big D, but that’s a story for another day! No matter how far we are from each other, our friendship is as strong as the day we met! My favorite memory is when we took on Nashville and Dollywood all in the same weekend. Can’t wait to stand by your side as you say the big I DO!

Rhiannon Smuck

Bridesmaid

Hey everyone! My name is Rhiannon and I am Lanie’s bridesmaid and old college roommate. We were random roommates at UNI and only spent freshman year together. Once Lanie went off to nursing school we became closer than ever and were always meeting up for beach days and Applebees date nights. Super excited to be with my lifelong friend on her big day!

Farrah Roland

Bridesmaid

Hi! I’m Farrah and I’m Danielle’s bridesmaid! I met Danielle on a travel assignment in Greenville, NC. We instantly meshed and became best friends. My favorite memory is when Danielle decided to do surgery on her finger in the middle of a shift with whatever supplies she could find on the unit. We have so much fun any time we are together and can’t wait to be part of her big day!

Miranda Welch

Bridesmaid

Hello everyone! My name is Miranda. I met Lanie on my first ever travel contract in Arizona. I was so nervous and traveled alone. We immediately clicked after orientation! She was so bubbly and genuine with everyone she met. She helped me get through some long tough nights and was always a shoulder to lean on. I’m so excited to be able to stand beside Lanie on her big day marrying an amazing woman like Danielle.

Brittany Strain

Bridesmaid

Hey! I’m Brittany and I am Danielle’s bridesmaid! We met on our travel nurse contract in North Carolina and hit it off since the first day we worked together. Between helping each other stay awake through the long night shifts to rescuing Danielle from being beat up by her dementia patient, we have seen it all together! I can’t wait to stand by her side on his big day!

Sydney Ohrt

Bridesmaid

Lanie and I met freshman year of college as next-door neighbors, and our friendship has been full of laughter ever since. We survived our Buffalo Wild Wings phase together, bonding over our love of cash tips and mutual hatred of BOGO wing nights, and years later, even living across the country, we still pick up like no time has passed. I can't wait to stand by her side as her and Danielle tie the knot!
