We’re Getting Married

Danielle had a wild hair to take a contract on a neurosurgery unit in the middle of nowhere Iowa. Lanie just left her staff job at Mayo and was ready to take on the world with her first travel nurse contract. Danielle was working one of her last shifts on her contract when this cool ICU nurse with a scrub cap and non-complaint hospital scrubs was floated to that same neurosurgery unit. Danielle very quickly learned that this rebel’s name was Lanie and that she was a badass army chick who rode motorcycles and drove race cars. Lanie was the complete opposite of Danielle, but yet the two hit it off instantly. Determined to get Lanie to think she was also very cool, Danielle invited Lanie out with a few friends to go downtown, get some drinks, and sing karaoke to the most iconic song of this decade: Super Bass by Nicki Minaj! The two joined each other on stage and sang on the top of their lungs and danced around stage together and got the biggest applause from the crowd. From that night on, the two became best friends who were attached at the hip. From paddle boarding to hot yoga to midnight lunch dates at work, Danielle and Lanie’s spark ignited. This love sprouted into one of the most pure forms of love that either of them had ever experienced. They felt like the saying “when you know, you know” was created specifically for their love story. Although their love story just began, the future Breitbachs have big plans for the rest of their lives together and cannot wait for you to witness their unity under God, their family, and friends.
