FAQ

We understand that COVID-19 is still very much a concern, and we are working to do everything we can to keep our guests and ourselves safe for the wedding. We are closely monitoring Washington's guidance around travel and gatherings during the pandemic, and will adhere to all regulations. We appreciate your understanding as we work through this uncertainty. If you have any questions or concerns about COVID-related health and safety at our wedding, please do not hesitate to reach out to Danielle or Jonathon. Everyone must decide whether they feel comfortable and safe to attend, and we understand whatever decision you make. Last year we made the difficult decision to delay our wedding by a year. We are very excited to get married and do not want to postpone again. Our plan is to move forward with our ceremony, while following safety precautions. Because regulations are constantly changing, we will edit this page if updates occur.
Question

Where can I park?

Answer

If you are staying at the Lodge overnight, you can use the valet when you arrive to check in. If you are visiting for the ceremony/reception, please park in the main parking lot across the street from the Lodge. You'll need to walk across the skybridge which goes over the street. If you are not able to walk that distance, you can drive in to the Lodge area for support.

Question

Where is the ceremony happening? Where is the reception?

Answer

We are getting married in the Centennial Greens which is a small meadow on the ground of the Snoqualmie Falls lookout. If you are approaching the Lodge from the bridge/parking lot, turn right towards the gift shop. There will be attendants around the area to help you get to the meadow. The reception will take place in the Falls Terrace, which is about a 5 minute walk from the ceremony site. You'll want to exit the ceremony towards the parking lot and walk up to the Lodge. There is an external entrance to the Terrace before you get to the main entrance of the Lodge. Dinner will take place on the patio of the Terrace. We will have a private bathroom in that space.

Question

Will we be required to wear a mask and social distance?

Answer

Yes, Washington state has mandated mask-wearing at any indoor public space, as well as outdoor public spaces when you cannot maintain a six-foot distance from other people. Please bring and wear a mask and maintain spacing between guests when possible. We will have disposable masks on-hand at all events if you forget yours. At the wedding, masks are mandatory at all times. The only brief exceptions are when seated at your table during the reception and for planned family photos. Masks are absolutely required when interacting with staff members at the venue.

Question

Should I get a COVID test before the wedding?

Answer

Yes - if you are not fully vaccinated (i.e. 2 weeks post 2nd shot) then we request that you quarantine and get a negative COVID test within a few days of the wedding. This is not necessarily a state-mandated guideline, but a measure we have decided to take in order to make this event as safe as possible. Here is a list of free testing sites in King County www.kingcounty.gov/depts/health/covid-19/testing.aspx. No - if you are fully vaccinated, then you do not need to get a test before the wedding. We request that you practice masking and social distancing and keep yourself as safe as you can.

Question

What if I’m vaccinated?

Answer

For those guests who have received the COVID vaccine prior to the wedding, we are so glad! The vaccine is our best way to bring this crisis to an end. We highly encourage anyone who is eligible to get the vaccine as soon as you can. It will help you avoid severe cases of the virus. Vaccinated guests will still need to follow all social distancing, and mask-wearing guidelines, so please plan accordingly.

Question

What travel restrictions do I need to be aware of?

Answer

Given the changing situation around COVID-19, we are closely monitoring Washington’s travel restrictions and regulations. All guests must comply with Washington state and CDC travel regulations in order to attend the wedding.
