Maid of Honor
It all started with a frat basement at Michigan State. From there, Danielle and Marilyn's friendship blossomed into many nights at the ever-classy Rick's American Cafe, tailgates and sorority formals. A few Long Island pitchers later, these two became besties in no time! Fun fact: Marilyn was the first friend of Danielle's that Grant met the night they fell in love at El Hefe. For a good laugh, ask Marilyn about their trip to Nicholas Cage's house.
Best Man
Grant's older brother and built-in best friend 34 years in a row. He's always been there for him and couldn't ask for a better brother. Grant was his best man and proud to have such an obvious choice to return the favor.
Matron of Honor
Danielle and Alex met in Mrs. DeFran's kindergarten class where the two of them fought over who got to hold the giant clock during circle time. Together, the two braved the painful days of elementary, middle, and high school. They may have attended rivalry universities, but that never got in the way of their friendship. (Go Green) Through long distance, graduate schools, and their standing sushi dates, their friendship has stayed strong. If you want to know the truest moments of their childhood, ask Alex about late night camp outs in Danielle's backyard or the times spent at the soccer fields.
Groomsman
Mikey is one of Grant's longest friends from South Bend. Between work, high school, college, and believe or not, even a couple of seders over the years, Grant views Mikey as a bonus brother. So thanks to a couple of AP classes in high school and everyone in the vicinity of Clay High School being employed at Coldstone, Mikey and Grant became lifelong friends. As college roommates, arguably the most important thing they learned were the 3 most manly musks that any man could possibly emanate.
Bridesmaid
Jacquelyn and Danielle's friendship started in Mrs. Cox's first grade classroom. The two of them were inseparable for most of their childhood lives and when they get together, it's like nothing has changed. From Grosse Ile to Miami, these two haven't stopped the shenanigans. For a good walk down memory lane, ask Jackie about the camp store at Cedar Point!
Groomsman
Along with Mikey and Mo, Anton is another irreplaceable friend from South Bend who has become family. So much time, so many memories formed in the time these two have known each other. 3 quick facts about Anton: his mother will always be right, he is also a fellow temporary Floridian, and is always down for a Goose Call on a Tuesday. N.B.: Anton may be one person on this list that rivals Grant and Danielle's love for Remy.
Bridesmaid
"Wanna come to Bodi with me" was the first thing Steph asked Danielle, early into her and Grant's relationship many, many years ago. The two were bound to be besties by their love for Taco Bell and sweaty workouts. Steph has always been a voice of reason and a shoulder to cry on for Danielle over the years, but not a conversation goes by where the two don't end up crying of laughter. To get a scoop on their inside jokes, ask Steph about her broken heel, or the time they accidentally ordered $70 worth of Tbell.
Groomsman
Mo is also one of Grant's best friends from South Bend. It was only fitting that Mo and Grant would finally meet in high school being that Mo "runs the 574". He is a very loyal, enthusiastic, and altruistic friend. We all love him even though we could never convince him to transfer to Bloomington.
Bridesmaid
Danielle and Alexandra met when Grant told Alexandra, "you should be friends with my girlfriend, she needs friends." Even though Grant takes the credit for introducing the two, you'd never guess it. Countless reminders to apply sunscreen, many happy hours, and 4 am concerts later, these two are two peas in a pod!
Groomsman
Jon is another one of Grant's friends from South Bend and Mikey's younger brother. He is better known as Jon Jon and despite being younger than the rest of us, he could always hang-- whether it was a Brown basement party in high school, 2$ Tuesday, his career, or beyond. Just don't let him Parkour.
Bridesmaid
Just a hot, August, Arizona day brought these two together in Dr. Hahs' intro to Applied Behavior Analysis class. The two first bonded over their crazy roommate situations and their friendship has been strong as ever since. From sharing the same job title to having cute adorable puppies, every time they catch up it's like no time has passed. For a laugh, ask Katie about how Danielle (like a loyal friend), stalked Instagram to help introduce Katie to the love of her life!
Groomsman
Ryan is part of Grant's very close knit group of medical school friends. Grant attributes Ryan and the rest of the crew for helping him to get through medical school. More importantly though, believe it or not, Ryan was one of the first to be introduced to Danielle as Grant's girlfriend. In fact, the first time Ryan met Danielle, Grant and Ryan were on their way to finishing a 30 rack on a Wednesday and he coached her through her first shotgunned beer. One could say Danielle is forever indebted to Ryan for that alone.
Bridesmaid
First bonding over their love for the Gordon boys, Danielle and Barbara soon found that they had a lot in common over their shared Polish heritage. Wife of best man Edward, and mother to ring bearer Teddy, Barbara has a special place in Danielle and Grant's life.
Groomsman
Chris is another one of Grant's very close friends through his time in medical school. Grant and Chris definitely saw it all in their time together in Kirksville, MO and most of it shouldn't be discussed publicly. To go along with being a great intensivist, he will go down as the smartest person Grant has ever met that can't technically read.
Bridesmaid
Soon to be sister-in-laws, Danielle and Christine hit it off from day one! Whether fashion advice or a voice of reason, Christine has always been there for Danielle, just like a sister.
Groomsman
Jeremy is a new addition to the family and we're happy to have him. He is Grant's newly official brother-in-law. Christine and Jeremy will be newlyweds as of January 2022.
Ring Bearer
Smile-filled, chatterbox nephew of the bride and groom, son of Edward and Barbara Gordon. This sweet little guy can't get enough of "Remy Arf Arf".
Flower Girl
Baby Lily Brown, daughter of Jacquelyn and David.
Dog of Honor
Danielle and Grant's energy-filled, green bean-loving fur baby! The day wouldn't be complete without him.
Officiant
Danielle's uncle and Godfather
