Things To Do

Since so many of you will be traveling from out of town, we thought it would be helpful to add a list of things that are fun to do/cool places to see while you're visiting the PNW.

Hawthorne

Portland, OR

This is hands down our favorite neighborhood in Portland. If you visit, we highly recommend eating at Fried Egg I'm In Love, drinking a beer at McMenamin's or Portland Cider Company, shopping in one of the consignment shops, and browsing for new and used books at Powell's Books.

QuarterWorld Arcade

4811 Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard, Portland, OR 97215
, (503) 548-2923

Located on Hawthorne, this is our favorite "barcade" that has AMAZING arcade games, a great selection of food and drinks, and such a fun atmosphere.

North Mississippi Avenue

North Mississippi Avenue, Portland, OR

This is another neighborhood we absolutely love in Portland. If you dig Southern food, we highly recommend eating at Miss Delta (reservations available and recommended). Afterward, hop across the street to Moloko and grab a cocktail in this bar known for its neon lights and aquariums.

Alberta Arts District

Portland, OR

This neighborhood features AMAZING murals, art studios, and dive bars that will provide plenty of entertainment and photo ops!

Portland City Grill

111 Southwest 5th Avenue, Portland, OR 97204
, (503) 450-0030

This restaurant is a bit on the spendy side but has the BEST view of the Portland skyline you'll get in the entire city. Reservations are essential. (Side note: trust us, try the lavender cosmopolitan cocktail!)

Pearl District

Portland, OR

Pearl is a must-see area for visitors to Portland. It features a variety of music stores (such as Everyday Music), clothing stores (such as Nordstrom, Doc Martens, and consignment shops), the largest Powell's Books in the city, and so many good restaurants (try Southpark Seafood or Sizzle Pie). Be sure to explore Pearl when you visit!

Multnomah Falls

OR 97014

This is an idyllic view of one of Portland's most famous waterfalls. What's nice about Multnomah is you can take it at your own pace. You can hike just a bit and get a good view of the waterfall or you can hike even further to get a closer view. Plus, there's a gift shop and concession food stand at the entrance for an after-hike ice cream cone!

Washington Park

4033 Southwest Canyon Road, Portland, OR 97221
, (503) 319-0999

This park is so vast and has so much to offer - there are trails to hike, open fields to lay and read in, and plenty of spots to take photos in. This is where we took some of our engagement photos and it holds such a special place in our hearts.
