We have a very unconventional love story which is perfectly us! From thousands of miles apart and and on opposite coasts, we met through a Harry Potter podcast Facebook group in 2018. After interacting on multiple Facebook threads, we began chatting on Facebook Messenger, became Facebook friends, and eventually met in person in 2019. It was love at first sight. Fast forward to many life changes and 1.5 years of long distance later, we made the move to do life on the same coast in Oregon in 2020. 3 years and numerous memories along, we are LOVING life in Portland with our dog Fable and cats Daisy and George!

Ty and Danielle planned a trip to San Francisco, CA for December of 2021 to see Metallica for their 40th anniversary concerts. They arrived late Thursday night and on Friday morning, Ty took Danielle to Strawberry Hill which offers beautiful views of the San Francisco skyline. Here, Ty got down on one knee and asked Danielle to be his wife. Strawberry Hill is where Lars, the drummer of Metallica chose the band name Metallica for his future band that would come to dominate the rock and heavy metal music industry. What an appropriate place to choose a name and a future together, knowing that this location is already tied to names and fulfilled destinies. Of course, Danielle said yes through many happy tears and screams of joy. San Francisco will always be SO special to Ty and Danielle for the rest of their lives.
